Town Clerk Report – May 2009

Good Evening:

I sent out letters to residents about cleaning there ditches. I have received several of them back already. I attended a health insurance meeting which right now it looks like the health insurance will increase around 6%. I will know more this month. I meet with the appraisal for the old elementary school. Also, I sent out late notices for business licenses. There are several that still have not paid, penalties will be added on them now, and then after June 30 a citation will be issued for no business licenses. Working on the budget, work session will be on May 14. I will have a rough copy for council then.
